How do you feel about the little report buttons next to everything now adays?

They are all over this site, myspace pics now all have the report button underthem, tagworld has those flags, It all seems jacked up to me. There should be means available to report people. But I don't like it so easily available. You should have to take the time to really think about stuff to report people. There's too many people out there I think that might just go around reporting things they don't like calling it the "I" word for whatever reason they decied to make up.

How do you feel about the little report buttons next to everything now adays?
people piss me off, and those little ******s always click on those report buttons, don't they?
Reply:Watch out for the PC crowd. State what you believe in the most forthright manner. Tact is important, but never at the expense of telling it like it is. Be direct, demand that folks admit to truths that we all know exist. Thinking people will appreciate your candor, even when they disagree with you. Report It

Reply:Quit whining about report buttons or I'll report you.

Just kidding, man. Don't report me for saying you were whining.
Reply:They're kind of irritating, dontcha think?
Reply:Yeah reporting is definitly overused...it gets on my nerves sometimes. But hey what can we do about it? They're there for the "safety" of everyone. We can't compete with safety cause nowadays everything has to be safe. Make this safe, make that safe, blah blah blah. I think they're getting a LITTLE paranoid. But that's just me.
Reply:Those little report buttons make people not do a lot of dumb and stupid stuff to other people I believe, so I like the little buttons and have used them to report pedophile activity and prejudice things that were aimed at the wrong people when i am on there too.

I am talking about people who are trying to hurt children and i will not abide that stuff at all. Grown ups can take care of their own feelings, but I will defend the kids every time.

I will push the button if you try it and I really don't care if they get upset or not. If I think they are trying to hurt a child , even if later I am proved wrong I will still do it just in case. Better safe and look stupid that ignore it and not look at all.
Reply:If you make posts that don't call anyone names.. Or use posts to make chat statements.. If you don't swear in your posts.. You have nothing to worry about.. Like me.. I could care less..
Reply:No freedom nowadays, I hate the people who report other people AAAAAAHH!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Well the question is of how many people are actually using them... But if someone insults me on a personal level I like to report it.. I mean I have never done so before but it's nice to have to option. But I guess if I report someone it doesn't really have any ramification anyhow.. so YEAH you are right.. People overuse 'em... The perfect solution would be to make somebody like click through 15 pages before he can make a report... then they would think about it and if it's really necessarry to do that right now..
Reply:no kididng eh, i had this idiot chick last night give me a snarky answer and now she is stalking my q's. and the funny thing was i got 5 violations for q's posted in 5 minutes, does that not sound strange to you. i never answered any of this chicks q's before she started her lil hissy fit with me.....

If someone should be reported it should be her, but alas, i cannot be a rat....
Reply:reporting is stupid
Reply:barely notice them. ive never really reported anybody. its just not my cup of tea. offensive or not, i wont care if its not interesting.
Reply:i feel that it is a subtle infringement on the 1st admendment.

if you dont like what you are looking at just leave the page

i think that minors have too much access to items that are unsuitable.

parents should do a better job of screening what their children are looking through the use of parental controls, not by reporting things that they deem unsuitable...whats unsuitable for a 13 yr old isnt unsuitable to a 18 yr old
