Ok a website that is exactly like myspace, where you can put a picture up and everything, but is safe and better than myspace, tagworld, and friendster?

There are tons of new social networking sites popping up every day. It depends on what you are looking for. Facebook is one of the most popular social network sites, 2nd in traffic compared to MySpace. MySpace has approx. 100 million users (although many accounts are fake) while facebook has roughly 10 million. Facebook, however is geared primarily to college students so it is far more targeted to a specific group of people - and you need a valid college email to sign up (i'm sure you know this already). Highschool students can also join as well as users from specific businesses. Bebo is another popular social network site in the UK, but i am unfamiliar with it. Consumate is another social site. It is mostly about being 'popular' though. If you are into that sort of thing, check it out. There are lots of other networks as well - including sites like MuslimSpace made primarily for Muslims, and even Dogster and Catster which are sites where you can make profiles for your pets. MySpace is getting increasingly LESS safe as it becomes too mainstream. I would check out these sites that I've listed and see what you think. The world of social networks is constantly evolving...so you never know what might pop up in a month.
Reply:What do you mean by "safer"? MySpace is only unsafe if you voluntarily give your personal information away to people and if you do that, no site is going to be able to keep you safe.





As for "tight" and "cool", can't you settle for one or the other? Aren't you asking for a bit too much by wanting both "tight" AND "cool"? I mean, really, show some self-restraint. Geez.
